Hello Glow Baby

Aiden developed jaundice shortly after being born. By the time we were to be released from the hospital, his billiruben level was still considered too high and in need of treatment. The doctor suggested we keep Aiden at the hospital under their lights a while longer but our wonderful nurse Karen has a better idea. She arranged to have a billiruben light sent to our house so we could take him home and keep treating him! So, we spent the next two days trying to work around The Billy light strapped to his back but it was so nice to be able to have him at home. The light was REALLY  bright! And thus, the nickname Glow Baby was born. Here are a few shots to remember the billy light days by:

 

5 Days Young :)

In anticipation of taking tons of photos of Aiden, I got a new Canon Rebel camera. I don't know how to use it very well yet but I took a few shots in the automatic mode today.


 

Tiny arrives home for the first time!

On the third day of his life, little Aiden came home for the first time! I snapped a few photos throughout the first night to remember this momentous occasion by. They aren't the best quality as I was using my camera phone and it was very dimly lit in the house, but they captured our little snuggle bug looking so newborn and SO cute!!
